With offices in 18 cities around the world and more than 1500 employees including reporters, video producers, data scientists, engineers, and brand strategists, BuzzFeed are renowned for discovering and reporting on unusual and quirky news.

Challenge

BuzzFeed operates in the high-pressure world of investigative journalism. To be able to consistently cover the eclectic news items and create the original content it does, the Company required a solution to help them.

As well as the increasing volumes of unstructured, textual data they had, (Word documents, PDF’s, spreadsheets, etc), they also required to be able to search across social media, websites, texts, and emails.

BuzzFeed needed a solution to quickly and easily search and access, all this information and data, to find exactly what they needed.

Solution

Nalytics was chosen by BuzzFeed to provide them with a solution to be able to search, discover, access, and analyse the vast amount of information they need to.
